Community Services of Cherokee County coordinates general relief programs.
Duties of the office include:
May provide emergency assistance which prevents eviction due to
unanticipated problems with rental or house payments or disconnection
from utilities for non-payment.
Coordination with other agencies such as the Department of Human
Services, and local churches help address the needs
Food and clothing referrals are coordinated with the local outreach
offices
